BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU FOR WOMEN

Whilst our female members are fully integrated into our GB1, GB2 and GB3 programmes, we’re dedicated to making both of our academies an inclusive space for women. Our aim is to provide opportunities for women to train together in a welcoming space, giving female members the opportunity to meet like minded women.

No experience or existing fitness level is required to start Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - it caters for everyone. If you’re aged 16 to 60 and beyond, these is a place on the mats for you. We offer a number of programmes, classes and open mat sessions for women, who also have unlimited access to the rest of our adult programmes.

WOMEN’S PROGRAMMES AND CLASSES

THE 8 WEEK WOMEN’S GBF PROGRAMME

We run GBF programmes twice a year at both of our academies. This 8 week course offers a comprehensive introduction into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a women’s - only environment. We then encourage GBF members to join our GB1 curriculum with the support of female coaches and other female members.

WOMEN’S ONLY CLASSES

We currently run a women’s only class on a Thursday evening at Gracie Barra Apperley Bridge! Led by Professor Khalil and Coach Hollie, these weekly sessions give our female members the opportunity to train in a women’s only environment outside of our usual classes.

These classes are open to members of all of our academies, so please feel free to come down and join in!
