Our structured classes provide a welcoming and supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace. Through expert instruction, drilling, live training, and practical feedback, students build a strong understanding of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a fun, safe, and encouraging atmosphere.

OUR PROGRAMS

Whether you’re completely new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or looking to build on existing experience, our structured programmes provide a clear pathway for progression through a comprehensive and results-driven curriculum.

We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for hobbyists and committed practitioners alike, with classes that help you improve your fitness, confidence, self-defence skills, and technical understanding at a pace that works for you.

Whether you enjoy the traditional aspects of gi training or prefer the fast-paced style and freedom of no-gi, our timetable offers a wide variety of sessions throughout the week to support your development and keep your training enjoyable, challenging, and consistent.

GB1: Fundamentals

Our Fundamentals programme is where every new member begins their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey.

Here, you’ll build a strong foundation by learning the essential techniques, core principles, and movements that underpin everything we do on the mats. Each class is structured to help you develop real understanding, not just repetition - giving you the confidence to apply what you learn step by step.

Alongside Jiu Jitsu skills, you’ll also be introduced to practical, effective self-defence in every session, all taught in a safe, supportive, and beginner-friendly environment.

GB2: Advanced

Once you’ve built a solid foundation in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through our GB1 programme, you’ll be ready to move on to GB2.

The core fundamentals remain at the heart of your training, but now you’ll begin to develop your own style. You’ll link techniques together more fluidly, improve your timing, and discover how to transition smoothly between positions with greater speed, control, and confidence.

GB2 is where your Jiu Jitsu starts to feel more natural, more dynamic, and truly your own.

GB3: Expert

After being awarded your blue belt, you’ll be invited to join our GB3 classes - the next stage of your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey.

At this level, training becomes more personalised as you begin to refine and develop your own Jiu Jitsu game. You’ll build greater depth in every area of the sport, linking techniques with more precision, improving timing, and sharpening your ability to adapt in live situations.

GB3 is where fundamentals are truly mastered and combined with more advanced concepts, helping you progress toward a well-rounded, confident, and highly capable understanding of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

NO-GI

We offer comprehensive no-gi tuition suited for everyone from beginners through to experienced grapplers. From takedowns and wrestling through to exhilarating groundwork, our no-gi classes provide a way to get a rounded knowledge, from casual classes through to competition.

GBF: BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU FOR WOMEN

Our 8 week, female only GBF programme provides women with a comprehensive introduction into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a same-sex space. With classes twice a week, you will gain thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu, before linking up with our GB1 programme.

A member of our team will be there to welcome you before your first session and help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. We’ll talk you through everything you need to know, introduce you to the academy, and make sure you’re ready to enjoy your first class with confidence.

As part of your free trial, we’ll provide you with a uniform and belt, so all you need to bring is a water bottle, a fitted training top or rash guard, and a pair of sliders or flip-flops. Just turn up ready to learn, have fun, and experience Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for yourself.
