We’ve seen excellent competition performances in May. We had the Yorkshire Open over at Barnsley with an excellent turn out for both kids and adults. A HUGE well done to the amazing Sofia, Evalyn, James, Sampson and Oliver - The coaching team are so proud of your progress and effort, and putting yourselves out there to compete!

Coming up this month, we’ve got a fantastic up and coming Jiu Jitsu athlete visiting the club - Sula-Mae Loewenthal! We’re super excited to have her here on Friday 21st August and can’t wait to see what she brings to both the kids and adult seminars

Gracie Barra Harrogate welcomes BBC Politics to the academy to meet Tricia, who is beginning her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey in her 70s.

Whether you’ve just started Jiu Jitsu or you’ve been training a while, you may feel your training is more structured when you set goals. Goals are individual, unique and just for you.

After 8 great weeks, our first GBF programme has wrapped at Gracie Barra Harrogate. We’re so unbelievably proud of the women that showed up and discovered (or rediscovered) their love for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and we hope that they can take this away with them as they progress through their journey in the sport.

Last Sunday we had the pleasure of welcoming women from the local community to Gracie Barra Harrogate, to take part in a free women’s self defence seminar.
